I started River Rose after my wife had a boudoir session that left her feeling worse about herself than when she walked in. She looked at the photographs and did not see the woman I saw. She saw someone older, uncomfortable and disconnected from herself. Watching that happen made me realize how personal this kind of photography is, and how much trust a woman places in the person behind the camera.
River Rose was built from that experience. I wanted to create the kind of session I wish my wife had received, with honest communication, clear direction and an all-female support team beside every client. We take the time to listen, respect boundaries and make sure each woman feels understood throughout the entire process.
The photographs matter, but the trust behind them is what makes River Rose different.

Sixteen years behind the lens, Shane guides every session with a calm eye and a deep respect for the women in front of his camera.

Jade is in the room during every session, helping clients find natural, flattering movement and making sure no one ever feels lost.

Studio Assistant
Anna keeps the session flowing. Adjusting light, offering wardrobe support, and making the studio feel like a quiet escape.

HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST
Haylee prepares each client for the session with hair and makeup tailored to her features, comfort and chosen look.
